—ATTENTION!—
The turbines that are delivered,do not include any type of writing or letter on its phases(connectors).
A-B-C letters are picked to make the test more visual and easy to understand.Every letter represents a different phase. It is not related to any scientific fact.
The values that are displayed on the LED of the multimeter, are not obliged to be the same values that your turbine displays.Do not let the values in the test videos and pictures mislead you.
—ATTENTION!—
Test #1
-Hold the nut on the flange of the turbine with your thumb and index finger.
-If it rotates by a gentle touch,it means that the turbine passed the first test.
Test #2
-Set multimeter to AC mode.
-Connect the probes of the multimeter(colors do not matter) between A and B,B and C,A and C.(line order does not matter)
-Rotate the flange with almost the same revolution in every dual connection.
-If you get near values displayed on the multimeter with every dual connection,it means that the turbine passed the second test.
Test #3
-Set multimeter to Continuity Test mode.
-Connect the probes of the multimeter(colors do not differ) between A and B,B and C,A and C.(line order does not differ)
-If multimeter beeps(buzz sound)
and the same numbers display,it means that the turbine passed the third test.
Test #4
-Set multimeter to Continuity Test mode.
-Place one probe(colors do not differ) to the hole in the middle of the phases (connectors).
-Place the other probe to phases(connectors) in order.
-If there’s no beeping(buzz sound) in every dual connection and the values do not change(it should display what it displays when the probes are not connected to anywhere)
That means that the turbine passed the fourth and the last test.
